Jax is 1 Month Old!

Yeah! Jax, and mommy and daddy, made it to the one month mark. Yahoo! In honor of such an occasion, this morning Trevor was burping quite loudly at Jax. When I told him that was gross, he replied that he was teaching Jax how to burp without spitting up, and wasn't that a good skill to have. Okay - he got me on that one.

Yesterday we tried out his play mat again, and he seemed to 'get it' more this time. He is still not really playing with the toys per say, but there is a light up musical thing that I think he could stare at for quite a long time. Its cute, and I think that in the next week or two he might start interacting with the toys that go on it.

We also talked to both sets of grandparents via Skype yesterday. We've got our video camera set up, so if you want to talk to us and Jax, just give us a shout. Its pretty fun.

Another of his '1 month' milestones is moving up to the next size diaper. Jaxson is out of Newborn size, and has moved up to Size 1...talk about a big boy!

And what is a day without a late evening snuggle in bed?
