Tummy Time on a new Whale Mat

In honor of being 6 weeks old, we went shopping. Okay, we actually went shopping because I wanted to get out, and he came along for the ride. One of the stores we stopped in had a whale shaped Tummy Time mat on sale, so into the cart it went.

When we got home, I got a few blankets, spread them out on the floor, and then rolled out the new mat. It has a ruler on it, and just for fun, I did an unofficial measurement of Jax...23 inches!

He proceeded to hate the tummy time... till he got himself to roll over and could then stare at the ceiling fan. He rolled over! Twice! Of course I thought I was getting it on video, but it turns out I've been pushing the wrong button the whole time, so no movie, just some stills.

Perhaps tonight when daddy gets home, and Jax shows off his new trick for him, I'll get a movie.
