KC Ren Fest

We went to the Ren Fest today out in Bonnor Springs. It was AMC's company picnic, so it was free and we thought it might be fun to walk around with Jax and look at all the funny people on a nice day. Only, I don't think we were the only ones to have that idea. It was the most crowded we'd ever seen the place, and while the stroller worked, the ground isn't exactly flat. And then there were people smoking and it was dusty and got kinda hot, and well, the list could go on. Either way, we had our turkey leg, soda, and that was about it. There was a booth selling leather children's shoes, but we passed. And we were going to try and find a booth selling children's toys, but we passed it on accident and then didn't want to brave the crowds to go back.

The Queen of the realm was at the AMC tent for a while, so we had a picture taken with her and Jax to prove we went.

After that it was a stop at Wal-Mart on the way home, and I think now we're in for the evening.
