Mommy's 'new best friend' bit the dust

The 'fancy' swing that I purchased just a few weeks ago has already bit the dust. It made it though the first set of batteries, and then started to die a slow death for the past 10 days or so. We've tried new batteries, testing the batteries, stopping and re-starting the swing, and everything in between. Nothing works. It dies. Sometimes it takes 20+ minutes of running before it does. Other times it works for less than 5 minutes.
So our 'fancy' swing is off to that swing heaven in the sky (or the return room at Babies R Us). And yes, we know we use it at a crutch, but sometimes you need that hour of sleep it provides, or the chance to fold laundry in peace. We will be getting a new swing! As we 'speak', Trevor is taking apart the old one and shoving it in my truck so it can be returned tomorrow.

We did more tummy time today, and while the pictures aren't great, you can see just how much he is holding his head up. Go Jax!
