Its Saturday, and that means, well I guess that means its Saturday. Nothing really special about this one over others, but, okay, well on with the blog.
We've been talking about getting our little man a Jumparoo toy for Christmas. However, after looking at reviews of them this week, it looks like if we waited Christmas, he'd be just on the tail end of using one. So, being the good parents that we are, we marched out and got one today. We tried it out in the store with him to see how he'd like it, and it seemed to be a hit. Into the cart it went. We get home, and put it together. However, while we were putting it together, Jax started to take a nap. Ya know that saying about never wake a baby, well, we did. Into the toy he goes, and after a few minutes to calm down, really seemed to like it. That lasted all of 5 minutes (just enough time to get pictures!) before he said enough and wanted to finish his nap.
Okay, so here he is in the Jumparoo. Its a neat little thing and I really think he'll get some good use out of it. He actually expressed some interest in the toys, which we haven't gotten him to do with rattles yet.
And then here he is sleeping in what Trevor calls his "jail pod". Its this outdoor bed thing I found for him that has a mesh net covering so you can put it outside and not have dogs or bugs get to him while he sleeps, and it has a shade for sun cover.
Oh, and really the biggest news of the day - Jax is wearing his first pair of blue jeans. I'll have to get a good picture later in the day, but he has on a Chiefs shirt, jeans, and his little Chiefs shoes. Seriously, he is so cute. Not that he is ugly on other days, but he really looks like a little boy today instead of a baby.
